Our journey began in Istanbul in 1995, when architect  E.G. Gultekin established an architecture and interior design studio dedicated to refined aesthetics, craftsmanship, and bespoke design. Located in one of Istanbul’s distinguished districts, the studio evolved into a boutique showroom that operated from the same location for nearly three decades, serving an international and high-end clientele.

Under the design brand LADEA 1995, the studio delivered bespoke interior design services for residential, hospitality, and commercial projects. Many of the furniture pieces used in these projects were designed directly by architect E.G. Gultekin and produced within our own workshops. Each project was approached individually, where custom-designed furniture, carefully crafted antique reproductions, and unique decorative elements were created specifically for the character of the space. Each project was treated as a unique piece, shaped by attention to detail, craftsmanship, and timeless design principles.

Through LADEA 1995, our interiors were enriched through collaborations with prestigious international brands. Exceptional textiles from Loro Piana, Rubelli, Marvic Textiles, Watts 1874, and C & C Milano were frequently used in our bespoke furniture and interior applications. Decorative objects and accessories from renowned houses such as Griffe Monte Napoleone, Villari, Laudarte, and Richard Ginori were also incorporated into many of our projects. Selected lighting designs and carefully sourced antique pieces further enhanced the individuality, heritage, and refined character of the interiors we created.

Over nearly three decades, this design philosophy developed through the combination of architectural expertise, bespoke furniture production, and close collaboration with internationally respected brands. Each project reflected a balance between aesthetics, material quality, and artisanal craftsmanship, creating interiors defined by elegance and authenticity.
